A Colli is a very pretty stone built farmhouse set in a glorious panoramic position in the Lucca hills just 14 kms from Lucca. The property has glorious views out over the Estate of Valgiano, with its beautiful vineyards and olive groves, and the plains of Lucca.

A Colli has been immaculately restored to offer a holiday home in most comfortable country style. At ground floor level there is a kitchen and dining room opening out to the garden.
At first floor level there is a sitting room with fireplace and door to external staircase leading down to the garden. At this level there is also a master bedroom with shower room en suite and twin bedroom with shower room en suite. On the second floor there is a double bedroom with en suite shower room and double bedroom and twin bedroom sharing a shower room.
The large swimming pool with ladder steps has been set into the lawned gardens just below the property. The swimming pool also has lovely views over the countryside.
In front of the property and adjacent to the swimming pool, there is dining pergola where you can enjoy lunches and candelit suppers.

These walls fronted by lawns with trees, enclose a centre of atmospheric medieval streets and towers, well-preserved Romanesque churches and palazzi. Irresistible food shops, often with Liberty signs, wood pannelling and beautiful tiles offer delicious seasonal fare. Strolling through the historic centre, pausing at old-fashioned boutiques, cafes, pastry shops and visiting churches and museums is a real pleasure.
Lucca's classic dishes reflect the city's wealth, torta di erbe is a Renaissance vegetable pie studded with pine nuts and raisins fragrant with spices that only the rich could afford.
The elegant resorts of Forte dei Marmi and Viareggio with wide sandy beaches are approximately 30 minutes drive away. From the cafes you can watch the lively passeggiata, admire the Art Nouveau buildings. Fish lovers can visit the fish market and dine on fresh fish specialities.
